“The department of “Methods of teaching computer science” was founded in 1988. In 2004 he was separated from the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Informatics as the Department of Informatics and Information Technology. Initially, the department was headed by Ph.D. in 1988-1993. Headed by IS Artikov. Chair holder t.f.n. In order to increase the scientific potential of the department at the initiative of IS Artikov, Ph.D. B.J.Rajabov, f.-m.f.n. R.A. Roziyevs were involved in the work. In 1993-1997 the department was headed by Ph.D. Directed by BJ Rajabov. From 1998 to 2004 he was the head of the department “Mathematical Analysis and Informatics”. RA Roziyev worked. 2004-2006 – Department of Informatics and Information Technology, Ph.D. U.Utapov, 2007-2008 – Ph.D. A.A.Ibragimov, 2008-2014 f.-m.f.n. Sh.J.Khudoyorov, 2014-2019 Ph.D. G.R.Yodgorov headed. Since September 2019, the head of the department is Associate Professor AA Ibragimov. Due to the change in the structure of the institute from February 28, 2015, the name of the department was changed to “Methods of teaching computer science.” During 2003-2009, the scientific potential of the department increased significantly. Teachers of the department Ibragimov A.A. In 2003, Choliyev E.A. In 2004, Khudoyorov Sh.J. In 2006, Utapov T.U. In 2008, Yodgorov G.R. In 2009 he successfully defended his dissertation. In order to increase the scientific potential of the department in 2016-2018, since 2016, Associate Professor Sh.N. Nasirova and since 2018, Associate Professor OO Suvonov have been working at the department.
Today, the teachers of the department “Methods of teaching computer science” in 2012 in the direction of 5110700 – Methods of teaching computer science in the bachelor’s degree and in 2002 on the basis of the department in the master’s degree in 5A110701 – Information Technology in Education and teaches bachelors in all fields of education in the field of “Information Technology in Education.”
“The department of “Methods of teaching computer science” approved research topics in 2 areas:
a) Mathematical modeling of natural processes;
b) Use of new pedagogical and information technologies in the educational process.
In the first direction, professors and teachers of the department docent. A.A.Ibragimov, dots. Sh.N.Nosirova, f.-m.f.n. Sh.J.Xudoyorov, f.-m.f.n. G.R Yodgorov, senior teacher D.N Khamrayeva, teachers F.D Khodjaboyev, F.J Tokhirov, T.T Jurakulov are conducting research. In the second direction, dots. R.A.Roziyev, p.f.n. T.U Utapov, senior teachers S.S Kochkarova, M.A Mahmudova, L.S Kuldashev, J.I Samandarov, M.U Raymova, teachers D.D Djurayev, D.R Djurayeva, B.A Yorkulov, A.O Norbekov and L.S Isroilova conducted research. The department of “Methods of teaching computer science” has 33 professors and teachers, 8 of them are professors with academic degrees: docent. R.A. Roziyev, docent A.A.Ibragimov, dots. O.O.Suvonov, t.f.d.dots.Sh.N.Nosirova, f.-m.f.n. Sh.J.Xudoyorov, f.-m.f.n. G.R. Yodgorov and p.f.n. TU Utapov, scientific potential is 23.3%. Currently, out of 33 professors and teachers of the department “Methods of teaching computer science”, 22 are full-time and 11 are part-time students.
In order to increase the scientific potential and effectiveness of scientific activities of teachers of the department of teaching methods of computer science, the senior teacher of the department LS Kuldashev in December 2017 was admitted to the basic doctoral program organized at the institute. One of the young professors of the department FD Khodjabaev (05.01.07) – Mathematical modeling. For the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the set of numerical methods and programs (physical and mathematical sciences) on the topic “Methods of external and internal evaluation of solutions of systems of equations with interval coefficients with a special appearance.” Under the scientific guidance of ZH Yuldashev, FJ Tohirov (05.01.07) – Mathematical modeling. For the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a set of numerical methods and programs (physical and mathematical sciences) on the topic “The task of optimizing the operation of industrial electrical systems with non-tertiary parameters.” They are conducting scientific research under the scientific guidance of AA Ibragimov.
Djuraev D.D. “Creation of a methodical system of integrated pedagogical software for the training of future teachers of computer science” (13.00.02-Theory and methods of education (Methods of teaching computer science)), Jurakulov T.T. (05.01.07- Mathematical modeling. For the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a set of numerical methods and programs on the topic “Development of mathematical models and algorithms for calculating the optimal control of learning processes” under the scientific guidance of Doc. OOSuvonov, Djuraeva DR “Modern Development of students’ thinking with the help of programming languages ”(13.00.02 – Theory and methods of education (Methods of teaching computer science)) under the scientific guidance of Prof. N. Taylakov.
In December 2018, the senior lecturer of the department Hamroeva D.N. “Algorithms for solving algebraic problems of individual values and conditions of intervals of nonlinearity of data” (“05.01.07 – Mathematical modeling. A set of numerical methods and programs”, supervisor Prof. Yuldashev Z.H.) and teachers Yorkulov B.A. “Methods of reduction of subjective neopredelennosti expert assessment of the quality of information systems” (“05.01.10 – Information systems and processes”, supervisor, Ph.D., Prof. Ajmukhamedov IM) and Norbekov A.O. Carrying out of scientific research on a theme “Improvement of methods of creation and use of the educational portal for asynchronous teaching of computer science” (“13.00.02 – Theory and methods of education (Informatics), the scientific adviser docent Ruziev RA) were admitted to the basic doctoral programs established at the institute.
