On April 15th, with the initiative of the Ecology Department of Navoi Region, in collaboration with Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Navoi State Mining university, and the Zakovat Intellectual Club, an intellectual competition titled “Ecology Knowledge Day” was organized. Students from higher education institutions and schools participated in the competition. Participants answered 24 questions related to ecology and showcased their knowledge.
The purpose of this event was to promote ecological knowledge, shape ecological culture, increase love and care for our Mother Nature, and provide information about current ecological issues and the surrounding environment. According to the results of the event, the team “Oxygen” took the first place, followed by “Status” in second place, and the team “Young Engineer Ecologists” in third place. The winners and achievers were honored with valuable gifts and honorary certificates.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
