An event dedicated to December 1 – AIDS Day was held on November 30 in the small reading room of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. The event was opened by teachers of the Department of General Medicine Boronova ST, Rozikova MO and Khatamova DA, who introduced the guests. After that, Alimova FR, a doctor of the Navoi Regional AIDS Center, Toshev Sh, Utaganov F., a criminal investigation officer of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, made a presentation on “HIV infection”. During the speech, he spoke about HIV infection and ways of its transmission, preventive measures against the spread of HIV in our country. He stressed the importance of improving medical culture to prevent any infectious and other diseases, and said that our health is in our own hands.
During the event, students of the Faculty of Art and design received answers to their questions.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
