Today in the department:
In the current stage of the development of direct relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the world community, to the young generation, who are the followers of our great future, to create knowledge, skills and skill in mathematics for students of higher educational institutions, teachers' professional training on the basis of advanced, uptodate pedagogical technologies.
History of the department of “Methods teaching mathematics”:
Department of " Methods teaching mathematics" was founded on April 15, 1992 on the base of "Mathematical analysis and informatics" department. from 1992 to 1997, docent A.Hakimov, docent A. Hakimov in 1997  2001. M. Uluknazarov, Ph.D. in the period from 2006 to 2012 Headed by A. Chuliyev. Since 2012, the department has been working as a candidate of economic sciences, prof. Imomkulov S.А. directing them.
There are 30 members in the department, including 1 doctor of science, 5 candidates of sciences, 8 senior teachers and 16 teachers. Members of the department conduct scientificmethodical work on the theme "Application of new pedagogical technologies in teaching mathematics". The results of the scientific and methodical work are reflected in more than 60 articles, theses and more than 10 methodological manuals published in the last three years.
Senior lecturer Ashurova D.N. she defended his doctoral thesis on the theme "Methods of creating a didactic complex in the field of algebra and numerical theory and increasing the effectiveness of the lesson" and get PhD degree. At present, two teachers of the department, Ibadullaeva Nafisa and Sobirov Jasur are studying at the base doctorate at Navoi State Pedagogical Institute.
At the department prof. Imomkulov S.A , organized a scientific seminar on "Theory of Functions".

Leading specialists of the department are not only confident in developing the world outlook, expanding their thinking, adding their worthy contribution to secular science, but also providing scientific, methodological and practical assistance to young teachers of the department.
Attracting talented students to scientific conferences is a good tradition. On October 1327, 2018, the Head of the Department of "Mathematics Teaching Methods" Prof. S.A. Imomkulov, the Doctor of Philosophy Ibodullaeva Nafisa and the 4th year student of the "Methodology of Mathematics Teaching" Akramov Nurali were invited to the Bashkir State University of Russia on their invitation. they were on a journey. For a twoweek trip, prof. S.A.Imkulov read lectures at the scientific seminar of Mathematics faculty of Bashkir State University and
in addition, the 2nd lecture of the faculty was devoted to the theme "Subharmonic functions and the theory of potential" for the Master's students. For the 3rd year students, a lecture on the theme "Continuity of Multiple Variable Functions" was conducted on the subject "Theory of functions of real variables" and a practical training on this subject. Doctoral candidate Ibodullaeva Nafisa and 4th year student Akramov Nurali took part in the scientific conference of doctors, postgraduate students and master students on Fundamental Mathematics held on October 1620. As a result, Ibodullaeva Nafisa and Nuraly Akromov were awarded with diplomas of 12 degrees. During the next days, they listened lectures from the famous scientists from the Bashkir State University.
The department has established close relations with the leading universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, Samarkand State University, Bukhara State University. The members of the department are expanding with young, talented, masters of sciences. Associate professors: Jalilov Anvar Abdullayevich, Abjalilov Sanakul Khojamovich, senior teacher: Shotemirov Yuldosh Safarovich, Shodiev Sherzod Shomamatovich, Jumayeva Nilufar Farmonovna, Toshtemirova Kamola Ergashevna, Tursunova E`tibor Muminovna, Eshpulatov Bobur, Hudoyberdiyevich Sayfullayeva Gulnoz Sayfullayevna successfully completed twomonth advanced training courses.
Information on professors and teachers who are trained in foreign higher education institutions, trained in doctoral studies and internships: On October 1327, 2018 the head of the department "Methodology of Mathematics Teaching" Prof. S.A. Imomkulov, Doctor of Philosophy Ibodullaeva Nafisa and Akramov Nurali, a fourthyear student of the "Mathematics Teaching Method" direction, traveled to the Bashkir State University of Russia on their invitation. During the twoweek trip Prof. S.A.Imkulov read lectures at the scientific seminar of Mathematics faculty of Bashkir State University.
On the basis of the cooperation program teachers of the department have concluded contracts with general education schools, academic lyceums and professional colleges of the region and organize training seminars and "Masters schools" on this basis. This cooperation have this benefits for the future.
