Department of quality control of education

Department of Education Quality Control within the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute “On the organization of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” It was established in January 2018 in accordance with the order of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2017 No. 50 to ensure the implementation of paragraph 14 of Resolution No. 515.

The main purpose of the department:

• Analyze and examine whether the institute’s educational areas and specialties are provided with state educational standards (SES), qualification requirements, curricula and science programs;
• to study the quality of the educational process at the institute, the level of its provision with textbooks and teaching materials;
• to study and analyze the compliance of the knowledge of students of the institute with the STS;
• ensuring the implementation of regulations aimed at improving the quality of education;
• monitoring the quality of training;
• organization of internal attestation of the institute, identification of factors negatively affecting the quality of education based on the results, submission of information to the rector of the institute and the State Inspectorate;
• control over the timely elimination of shortcomings and deficiencies identified at the institute in the process of certification, study of the quality of education;
• monitor the status of indicators that determine the quality of education and make recommendations to the relevant structures on the identified problems and shortcomings;
• to analyze the effectiveness of the use of modern methods and techniques in the process of professional development of teachers in order to improve the quality of education;
• Internal monitoring to determine the status of professional qualifications of teachers in the structural units of the institute (faculty, department, department, center, academic lyceum), as well as the level of quality in postgraduate education and training and retraining to make proposals to the management of the institute on conducting, preparation of analytical data, elimination of the revealed shortcomings and problems;
• to analyze the relevance of the basic data of the professors and teachers of the institute to the relevant teaching discipline (s) or to study whether they have undergone appropriate retraining or have an academic title, degree in the relevant specialty and report to the rector of the institute to make;
• monitoring the implementation of the plans of the educational process, research and scientific-methodical work of the institute;
• analyze the state of the material and technical base of the educational process, make suggestions for its development and improvement;
• control over the organization and effectiveness of student internships at the institute, taking into account the areas of study and specialties;
• Participate in the collection of information on the rating and evaluation of the institute on behalf of the State Inspectorate, the process of certification and study of the quality of education;
• assessment of the objectivity, transparency and quality of rating points based on the analysis of the process of assessing students’ knowledge;
• conduct regular public opinion polls among students, parents, faculty and staff in order to study the social environment, training and quality of education at the institute;
• to improve the professional skills of the staff of the department, to study the experience of prestigious educational and research centers of foreign countries developed at the expense of the President’s Talent Fund or international projects and institutes and their application in the educational process;
• actively participate in the development and implementation of measures to raise the rating of the institute to the international level in conjunction with the leadership of the higher education institution;
• conducting educational seminars and trainings aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with the relevant structures of the institute;
• to form a base of public experts at the institute and to hold regular seminars within the framework of the tasks assigned to them;
• monitoring of cooperation between the educational process and production, innovative ideas, development and practical application of technologies;
• to report on the results of research and monitoring carried out by the department to improve the quality of education at the Board of the Institute, round tables and conferences;
• to make appropriate proposals to the management of the institute based on the results of the study of the state of education quality..
