Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor
The Department of Uzbek Linguistics was separated from the Department of Uzbek, Kazakh Languages and Literature in 1994. Initially, the department was founded by Ph.D. A. Ergashev supervised, in 1998 assistant professor Tair Khodzhaev supervised. In 1999-2004, the department was headed by associate professor Mahmud Ravshanov. In 2005-2008 candidate of technical sciences. The scientist Kayumov supervised. In 2008-2011 f.f.d. Directed by Nigora Murodova. Since 2011, the department has been operating under Ph.D. Supervised Nuritdinova Rano Sevdievna. From 2017 to 2022, the head of the department was headed by Ph.D. According to the order of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 28, 2015 No. 52 “On Approval of the Organizational Structures of State Pedagogical Institutes under the Ministry of Public Education”, the departments of “Uzbek Linguistics”, “Methods of Teaching the Uzbek Language and Literature” were merged and on their basis the department “ Uzbek language”, and since 2021 – the Department of Uzbek Linguistics. In total, 18 professors and teachers work at the Department of the Uzbek language. Among them, 1 doctor of science, 1 doctor of science, professor, 13 candidates of science, 3 doctoral students, assistants, the scientific potential is 87.3%.

The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
