In Navoi State Pedagogical Institute as part of the Faculty of Arts, the Department of “Music Education” was established, and in 1988 as part of the Faculty of “Methodology of Primary Education”, the Department of Music was established. At present, associate professor of the Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Arts V.B. Vedet B.N. Umurzakov. There are 2 professors, 4 associate professors and others, 5 senior lecturers, 8 teachers working in the department, the scientific potential of the department is 33 percent. In 2023-2024 academic year students are trained on full-time and part-time bachelor’s degree “Music Education”, “Instrumental Performance” (by types), “Vocal Art” (by types).
