Information about the Master’s Department of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute

In 2002-2003, the master’s department was established at the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. A master’s degree is higher professional education in a specific specialty and lasts at least two years (3 years) on the basis of a bachelor’s degree. The education in it is completed with the final qualification state attestation and the defense of the master’s thesis. At the same time, it is possible to continue the final stage of continuous education based on the personnel needs of the institute. The Master’s Department conducts its activities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the “National Program of Personnel Training”, State Educational Standards of Higher Education and adopted on March 2, 2015 It operates in accordance with the “Regulation on Magistracy”.

In the 2023/2024 academic year, a total of 237 students will study at the master’s department. From this, 106 students in 18 majors in the 1st year by the rector of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute on August 30, 2023, 46 students in 14 majors in the 2nd year on August 30, 2022, and the 1st year in the winter 85 students are studying on the basis of the curriculum approved on January 31, 2023.

In the 1st year, 60 students out of 106 students study on the basis of a state grant and 46 students study on the basis of a contract. In the 2nd year, 32 out of 46 students study on the basis of a state grant and 14 on the basis of a payment contract. 38 out of 85 students in the 1st year winter admission study on the basis of a state grant and 47 students study on the basis of a contract. State scholarship holders, famous scholarship holders, “Fame” medal holders, “Brave boy”, “Outstanding public education” badge holders and women receive education and further their knowledge and skills. increasing.

 In the current academic year, 19 departments are cooperating in the Master’s Department. In the 2023-2024 academic year, 198 of the students studying at the Institute’s Master’s Department are women. In accordance with the applications of the students, professors-teachers of the departments of the institute with mature and many years of pedagogical experience and scientific potential were appointed as scientific supervisors for the master’s theses, and research work is being carried out.

 As a rule, the topics of master’s theses are focused on current research issues and solving specific practical tasks.

   In the current academic year, 17 departments are working in cooperation at the Master’s Department. In the 2022-2023 academic year, 338 of the students studying at the Institute’s Master’s Department are girls, which is 72.4% of the total number of students.
In accordance with the applications of the students, professors-teachers of the departments of the institute with mature and many years of pedagogical experience and scientific potential were appointed as scientific supervisors for the master’s theses, and research work is being carried out.
As a rule, the topics of master’s theses are focused on current research issues and solving specific practical tasks.
