The department was created in September 2021 under the name “Department of General Medicine”. In total, the department employs 13 professors and teachers, the head of the department is an independent researcher Vali Norkulov Turakulov. The scientific potential of the department is 1.5%.

3. Since 2019, Turakulov Vali Norkulovich has been conducting scientific work on the topic “Improvement and training of nurses in primary health care.”
4. In 2005, D. Kuvondikova received the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.
Spiritual and educational work.
The department of spiritual and educational work has a plan for spiritual and educational work, which is approved by the vice-rector for work with youth of the institute. A number of activities are being carried out according to the plan. In particular, they take part in events dedicated to Independence Day, Teachers and Coaches Day, elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Together with the staff of the Bukhara State Medical Institute and leading universities, parent meetings, round tables, sports events and a number of other events were organized, in which professors and students of the department actively participate.
