Since September 7, 2021, the Department of Sports Education Methods has been headed by Associate Professor Haydarov Sabir Nosirovich. The department was founded in 2021 and is still headed by S. Khaidarov. Currently, the department has 20 professors and teachers, including 4 associate professors, 4 doctors of philosophy (PhD), 6 senior teachers, 6 teachers who teach relevant subjects based on the curricula of the department, conduct their training.

Currently, the department has 20 professors-teachers. Among them: 4 associate professors, 4 candidates of sciences, 6 senior teachers, 6 teachers.
Sirodzhov Otayon Orifzhonovich 13.00.01-Pedagogical theory. Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (PhD) dissertation defense on the topic “Technologies for the development of valeological competencies in future teachers of physical culture” in the specialty history of pedagogical teachings. Successfully defended in 2023 the scientific dissertation work of the Academic Council under the number 82.01.
In the 2021-2023 academic year, professors-teachers of the department published 18 scientific articles in foreign scientific journals, 32 scientific articles in journals approved by the UAC, more than 100 scientific articles at republican scientific and theoretical conferences. More than 100 articles of the department staff were published at traditional scientific and theoretical conferences held at the institute.
