At the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, the Department of Practical English Language Course was created in 2021 as part of the Department of English Language and Literature. The department employs 26 professors and teachers, including 5 senior teachers. More than 30 teaching aids by professors and teachers have been published at the department. Since October 2021 D.J. Gafurova is the main one.

In 2015, Kayumova successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Syntactic study of the category of negative in the English and Uzbek languages.” In addition, associate professor of the department Tukhtaeva K.D. in 2004 she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Structural, semantic and nominative features of compound words in phraseology.”

The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
