Special Representative of the Chairman of the Committee to the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States M. Khojaev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Internationalist Fighters of the Republic of Tajikistan O. Mukhiddinov, Chairman of the Navoi regional branch of the Association of Veterans and Disabled Persons of Uzbekistan “Veteran” M. Uralov and member of the Association of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Uzun District “ Veteran” of the Surkhandarya region M. Khudzhakeldiev visited NavDPI.
First, a meeting was organized with employees of the internal affairs bodies, the management of the institute, and students of the academic lyceum at the IIB. “Uzbek uglonlari” who participated in the hostilities in Afghanistan were awarded medals and certificates of honor for their services to the “VETERAN” association.
Chairman of the Committee on the Affairs of Internationalist Soldiers under the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States N. Shuba awarded a diploma to the rector of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor B. B. Sobirov.
Also, Kurbanov Khurshid Raupovich was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the chairman of the committee “for services in the development of the movement of veteran internationalists, educating the teenage generation in the spirit of military patriotism, strengthening peace and friendship between the peoples of the Commonwealth of Independent States.”
In the afternoon, the guests visited the museum in memory of the victims of repression. Historical objects, exhibitions, and manuscripts in the museum received detailed information about our ancestors, repressed and exiled due to unfair slander and accusations.
The law about “The State Emblem” was approved by the 10-th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 1992.
The law about “The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.
