International collaboration

The NSPI has a direct role in gathering statistics on the various SDGs. The institution has also overseen over 100 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) for the exchange of research findings and important datasets for enhanced analysis and better SDG decision-making.

These alliances are based on collaboration, shared interests, and objectives, and they are dedicated to providing partners with reciprocal advantages.

In order to help partner universities achieve their strategic goals, we use our resources as a higher education institution and provide expertise. In addition, our students benefit from improved professional progression, employment, and opportunity.

  1. In collaboration with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, NSPI jointly held the 1st International Conference for Achieving the Sustainability Development Goals. The conference was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in Almaty, Kazakhistan. The event brought together the latest thoughts, and data gathered related to implementing the SDGs. In addition, a total of more than 120 research articles in different topics that cover most of the SDGs. It has been attended by a group of distinguished personalities from different nationalities, including Turkish, Uzbek and others, in addition to postgraduate students, mostly those who are NSPI graduates. In this context, this conference has highlighted the most important and recent advancements between reality and expectations to achieve sustainable development goals because of their role in establishing and developing strategic development visions, given the changes the world is going through at various levels, especially the political, economic, and social one. We attempt to discuss this according to a set of core issues including the role of the public sector, private sector, and local and international organizations in achieving the goals of sustainable development and their benefits in the light of United Nations Vision 2030

Number of university sustainability program(s) with international collaborations

1. Our institute actively participates in the international forum called «Tourism on the Silk Road» as a reginal coordinator. «Tourism on the Silk Road» is a large-scale event that gathers leading experts in the field of tourism and sustainable development institutions around the world. Presentations of tourism opportunities of dozens of countries, meetings and business negotiations of hundreds of experts, as well as international conferences on the main issues of sustainable development are held here.

The participants of this year’s fair are waiting for:

– Presentations of tourist opportunities of dozens of countries;

-Strategies of developing sustainability in the region

– Meetings and business negotiations;

– International conferences.

Participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair «Silk Road Tourism» provides the following advantages for tourism professionals and travel enthusiasts:

– Signing business agreements;

– Finding new partners on sustainability;

– Support for industrial development;

– Promotion of tourist products;

– Acquaintance with new trends;

– Conducting marketing research.

2. Navoi State Pedagogical Institute regularly hosts events that organized by “Innoweek.uz” community. The International Week of Innovative Ideas — “Innoweek.uz” has been held since 2018 to accelerate innovative development in Uzbekistan, widespread implementation of innovations and technologies in all sectors of the economy, development of human capital, science and innovation. Over the past period, the event has developed under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and has become the largest platform for demonstrating advanced innovations and expanding global cooperation in Central Asia. The event annually brings together leading domestic and international companies, investors, diplomats, entrepreneurs, scientists, startups, technology experts and representatives of government agencies. It is also an ideal platform for meetings with leaders of the innovation sector, cooperation and communication with investment experts.

3. On the initiative of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic «Modern digital technologies in education: problems and prospects». This conference was significant because it was dedicated to the current issues, problems and solutions of the introduction of modern digital technologies in education.

At the conference, the theoretical aspects of positive solutions to the global issues of digitalization of education and were shown. Specialist scientists of a number of countries, including Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, Poland, as well as leading higher educational institutions of our Republic, actively participated in the discussion of these issues with their scientific theories and views. For example, «On methods of creating virtual laboratory work», » The role of programming languages ​​in improving the professional preparedness of students in the context of digitalization”, «Methodology of using digital technologies in the organization of the educational process», «Practical efficiency of pedagogical software tools», «Using mobile technologies in education possibilities of use», «Prospects of using technologies of biometric identification in education», opinions and opinions of experts were heard on these and other topics.

4. The young people of the institute took part in the III International Congress of Tourism and Ecology under the slogan «Youth are the creators of our future» – Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. On August 8-13 of this year, the youth of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, including the youth of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, participated in the III International Congress of 15 countries of the world, including youth leader Akmal Zakirov, who was elected as the chairman of the Council of Tourism Ambassadors of the Navoi region. Kamronbek Sultanmuradov, a student of the 3rd stage of the Faculty of History, youth coordinator, was elected as the chairman of the movement of young environmentalists in Navoi region. Also, under the leadership of Zafar Bekboyev, the coordinator of the Faculty of Arts, the Navoi team took part in the event «We are one team – hello conference» and was awarded with a special certificate and souvenirs.

5. Navoi State Pedagogical Institute hosted an international scientific-practical conference on the topic «Prospects for the development of science, technology, natural sciences, technology and digital education «ASEDU-IV 2024». Representatives of a number of prestigious higher education institutions of the Russian Federation participated in it online.

At the international conference held under the leadership of the rector of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, professor Bahadir Sobirov, researchers, professors, teachers, doctoral students from the institute and the leading universities of our republic, as well as St. Petersburg University teacher Anastasia Pivovarova, director of the Krasnoyarsk Science and Technology Center, Igor Kovalyov and other scientists participated with scientific lectures and presentations.

Scientific researchers, professors and doctoral students of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, specialists from Termiz State University and media representatives, as well as Anastasia Pivovarova, a teacher of the St. Petersburg National Research University, Igor Kovalyov, director of the House of Science and Technology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, will participate in the international conference. and others are involved.

6. Our institute rector attended in the second forum of rectors of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan higher education institutions. About 100 heads of higher education institutions, heads of ministries and departments of the two countries participated in the conference on the theme «2030: Priority directions for the development of higher education, sustainability and science in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan». At the forum, integration between the higher education institutions of our country and the universities of Tajikistan, exchange of professors and teachers, organization of mutual learning processes, improvement of the quality of education, introduction of digital technologies in education, issues of professional development and development of cooperation in scientific activities were discussed. More than 20 memorandums of understanding, agreements and «Roadmaps» were signed at the end of the forum.

Navoi State Pedagogical Institute organized prestigious conference in cooperation with the international scientific magazine «Science and innovation» under the title «Modern trends of teaching physics in the environment of information and innovative technologies: problems and solutions.» To study the problems and solutions of teaching physics in the environment of modern information and innovative technologies, to introduce students to modern teaching methods, as well as to develop cooperation in order to reduce the limitations between the theory and practice of physics, and to effectively use innovative technologies in teaching physics. It aims to apply, develop teaching methods, study modern approaches, carry out scientific and practical work on them, and develop cooperation.

8. An international conference on «Global issues of primary education development: problem, research» was held at the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute at the initiative of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education. The conference was attended by leading universities of our republic and foreign countries, including Turkey, Japan, Korea, Republic of South Africa (JAR), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Rector of NavDPI, professor Bahadir Sobirov, opened the conference and spoke about the importance of the conference. Also, the issues of teaching natural sciences in primary education, the primary education system in Japan, » “Value foundations of traditional education of nations”,», «The role of programming in the modern world» and more than 20 different scientific theories and views were discussed.

9.  The educational system of Finland and Sweden is widely being studied. Currently, with the help of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden and the Honorary Consulate of Finland in Uzbekistan, 23 professors from Navoi State Pedagogical Institute participated in international training courses in Finland and Sweden. In these training courses, the delegation of Uzbekistan is getting acquainted with the activities of schools and the higher education system with the help of Finnish educational experts. According to the trip program, seven days in Finland and five days in Sweden were spent studying the educational system and activities of schools, establishing mutual cooperation in the future.

10. Navoi State Pedagogical Institute held an international scientific-practical conference on the topic «Relationship of different systematic languages ​​in the era of globalization». The conference discussed the problems, solutions, strategies of comparative and world linguistics, linguistics, literary studies, experience, innovations, current problems of modern philology and Uzbek-Azerbaijani. issues such as literary relations were discussed. In the conference, influential scientists from the Republics of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan took part in their lectures online. In particular, the lectures of Turkish professor Gunesh Nuray, Azerbaijani professors Almaz Ülvi Binnətova, Alizadeh Asgarli, Kazakh professor Zhanna Botaboeva, Tajik scientists B. Fayzulloyev, T. Turdiboyev were listened to with great interest by scientists. researches, new analysis and interpretations, strategic goals were presented to the people of science.

11. On the occasion of the International Day of Psychologists, at the Samarkand State Medical University, «Psychologists of the present time. A republican scientific-practical seminar was held on the topic «Problems and solutions».

Dilfuza Abduraimova, a psychologist of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, took an active part in this seminar and was recognized among her colleagues. More than 160 psychologists from higher educational institutions participated in the seminar-training.

12. An international scientific-practical conference was held at the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute on the topic «Talented youth – the guarantee of creating an intellectual, creative elite: issues of academic mobility and international cooperation». Professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of our country, as well as scientists from Kenya, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and a number of other countries and prestigious universities took part in the conference. Current issues of the topic were discussed and proposals for its scientific and practical solutions were accepted.

More than 800 scientific articles from about 100 higher educational institutions were submitted to the conference.
