Cross sectoral conferences

NSPI has initiated and engaged in dialogues across sectors with universities and organizations around country and the world. Governmental organizations and non-governmental and other institutions worked with NSPI to host a series of webinars and dialogues in 2023. During these conservations, we talked about the progress being made in Navoi region toward achieving the Sustainable Developments Goals and metrics that measure progress toward those goals. Furthermore, NSPI has collaborated with several foreign and domestic universities on research, community service and teaching quality improvement activities related to achievement of SDGs.

As a part of its partnership and collaboration policy, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute has ensured to be a platform for partners and stakeholders to participate in cross-sectoral dialogue about the progress of SDG implementation.

1. «DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN PRIMARY EDUCATION AND DEVELOP SPEAKING COMPETENCE A CONFERENCE ON THE MODERN CONDITION AND PROSPECTS» WAS HELD

According to the order of NSPI, the next national conference of the faculty of preschool and primary education was held.

Professor-teacher scientists of the institute, students, master’s and doctoral students, as well as scholars of higher educational institutions of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khorezm regions participated in the conference. The conference was held in such areas as «Promising digital technologies in primary education», «Issues of development of speech competences in primary education».

2. On the initiative of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic «Modern digital technologies in education: problems and prospects». At the international conference, scientific comments were made about the global issues of digitization and their solutions.

3. An international scientific-practical conference was held at the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute on the topic “Dialectological atlas of national values   – an important source in the study of history”. Current issues of science and education were discussed at the international scientific and practical conference.

4. Young people of the institute took part in the 3rd International Congress of Tourism and Ecology under the slogan «Youth are the creators of our future».

On August 8-13 of this year, the youth of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, including young people of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, youth leader Akmal Zakirov was elected as the chairman of the Council of Tourism Ambassadors of Navoi region, which was attended by more than 15 countries of the world. Kamronbek, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of History, youth coordinator, became the chairman of the movement of young environmentalists in Navoi region. Sultanmuradov was elected. Also, under the leadership of Zafar Bekboyev, the coordinator of the Faculty of Arts, the Navoi team took part in the event «We are one team – hello conference» and was awarded with a special certificate and souvenirs.

5. The delegation of Uzbekistan participated in the second rectors’ forum held in Tajikistan

On September 13, the second forum of rectors of Central Asian countries was held at the National University of Tajikistan. In addition to rectors, representatives of scientific circles, professors of more than 80 universities of Central Asia, a delegation of rectors and vice-rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan took part in the Forum.

6. Participants of the Uzbekistan-Hungary II rectors’ forum were welcomed at Karoli Gaspar University

On May 17, an official reception of the delegation of our country was held by the management of Karoli Gaspar University in Budapest, in connection with the 2nd Uzbek-Hungarian rectors’ forum. The official reception took place in the magnificent Karoli Sekonitsa palace of the university.

At the official reception, the Rector of Károly Gaspar University, Lazlo Trošani, and the Chairman of the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference, Lazlo Borkhi, spoke and welcomed the guests from Uzbekistan. Lazlo Troshani highly appreciated the increasingly developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and science and noted that the visit of the rectors of Uzbek HEIs to Hungary will contribute to the expansion of the exchange of students, doctoral students, researchers, professors, and the exchange of knowledge and experience. Komiljon Karimov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, noted that the respect shown to representatives of the intellectuals of Uzbekistan in a building of great historical importance is the result of the special attention paid to education and science in our country in recent years.

The official reception continued with dances and songs performed by young artists of the Hungarian Choreography Academy.

7. Family stability is the guarantee of social peace

May 15 – in connection with the International Day of the Family, an educational event was organized on the topic «Family strength is the guarantee of the peace of society» in cooperation with the Faculty of History and the Memorial Museum of Repression Victims.

At the event, an exhibition of national handicrafts, dances and songs were presented by female students of the faculty. N. Orokova, the leading specialist of the State Museum of History and Culture of the Navoi region, gave information about the importance of the ceremony of greeting the bride and putting on the lachak.

8. A meeting with the chairmen of the neighborhood recommended for studentship based on the state grant.

On the recommendation of the minister of support of neighborhood and intellectuals to non-higher-educated neighborhood chairmen and employees working in the system, 98 neighborhood chairmen from Navoi, Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions will receive a state grant for part-time education in the «Social Work» direction of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute in the 2022-2023 academic year. admission to study based on set to do. Today, a meeting was organized with a group of community leaders recommended to the students.

9. A SHORT-TERM TRAINING COURSE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS ACTIVISTS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS ORGANIZED IN NAVDP

Women activists from five regions of Navoi region took part in it.  In particular, a total of 152 women from the cities of Navoi and Ghazgon, Karmana, Navbahor, and Nurota districts participated.  The theoretical and practical lessons set for the training course were explained in detail by the advisers of the dean on women and girls’ issues and the psychologist of the institute D. Abduraimova.

 

10. As part of the «Youth breath», a running marathon was held under the slogan «Youth movement – for health» with the participation of regional enterprises and organizations, educational institutions and young people of the neighborhood. Sports fans of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute also actively participated in this marathon.

11. Enlightenment sharing and knowledge dissemination are important for the progress and development of society. This process involves imparting knowledge to different categories of people through science, education, culture and technology. One of the main signs of an enlightened society is its emphasis on education. Science and education play an important role in raising the morale of the population. Culture and traditions have a great role in sharing enlightenment. Teaching national and universal values to young people is one of the main tasks of an enlightened society.

More than 250 collections of fiction and poetry were distributed to residents of Sarbozor Mahalla of Navbahor District by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and in cooperation with other faculties to share enlightenment.  The book is the key to all knowledge. Spreading knowledge through books is an integral part of an enlightened society. It is also important to develop educational culture and support reading. Giving books as gifts is another simple and effective way to spread enlightenment among people. Distribution of books to all sections of the society helps to increase their knowledge.
